Secret Hypnosis Information

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

By Steve Gillman

Secret information? Maybe not much remains truly hidden or forbidden anymore, but there are always important little secrets about how things work. Salesmen, politicians, and others learn and use subtle techniques to influence you. “Lucky people” use little-known tricks to get that way. Here are some examples.

Controlling Through Words

There is a classic joke, “Have you stopped beating your wife?” It is difficult to answer without incriminating yourself. This technique of the implicit premise is used by politicians for more than jokes. Get everyone to argue about how to do something, for example, like win the the “war” on drugs, and nobody questions if it should even be done. Implicit premises are a powerful method of control. Get in the habit of recognizing the premises hidden in political debate.

Another way to influence people is to control language. Since social security payments don’t come from actual investments, unless you call the government lending itself money “investing”, social security isn’t a “retirement fund.” Calling it that, however, makes it seem safer and more acceptable than what it is: welfare. You can see how the words used control the debate.

Our words matter greatly. Could it be difficult politically to spend millions on “human shredder” bombs? Maybe that’s why they are called “daisy cutters.” Start paying attention, and you’ll see how words are being used to influence you.

Hypnotic Sales Techniques

Read the following sales pitch:

“Does speaking before a crowd make you nervous? What if it was easy? Imagine standing there in front of a crowd, knowing exactly what to say to make them love you. Wouldn’t that feel wonderful? Just apply our simple methods, and you will have that power. Use the form below to ORDER RIGHT NOW.”

It starts by getting you to say yes, which is habit forming. It hints at the possibility of a solution. The word “Imagine,” in line three, gets you doing just that. Line four suggests positive emotion and gets another yes. “And” in line five infers cause and effect, that you’ll have the power BECAUSE you used their product. The last line directs you with “Use the form below.” The “order right now” is called an “embedded command,” because putting it in capitals influences you without you noticing consciously.

When I learned dozens of these techniques, I used them to rewrite the sign-up page for one of my newsletters, and I started to get four times as many subscribers from the same traffic. Secret information or not, it is powerful stuff.

More Secret Information

“Lucky people” create the right conditions for “luck,” by being in the right place, and around people who can help. Good salesmen use techniques like “mirroring,” and “leading,” to persuade you. Research from the new science of behavioral economics is applied by smart marketers to create methods of getting you to buy.

Secret information isn’t all about influencing others. Most industries and human activities have little-known “tricks of the trade.” Wise real estate agents sell expensive homes, for example, because they know it takes the same work as selling a mobile home, but the commission can be five times as much. Those who don’t use this “secret” struggle to make a living.

Certainly, subliminal techniques and other “forbidden knowledge” can be used for good or bad, so are they dangerous? Yes, especially if you’re not in on the secret. Why not start to gather some of your own secret information?

Uses of Hypnotic Speech

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

by Rob Andrews

Language is indeed powerful. In fact, you unknowingly show others how you view the world by the words you use when speaking.

In fact, some experts believe that we not only use language to talk about how we see our world, but also that language actually helps us make the world we live in.

How so?

Our subconscious mind loves consistency and so will try to interpret what it experiences in a way consistent with the words we use.

This powerful tool on the tips of our tongues not only affects us, but also affects people listening to us. So you can change the way someone else views the world by consciously choosing certain words to help their subconscious form a world view you desire.

How is this done?

Using language and words the right way, actually allows you to hypnotize someone you speak to. I don’t mean a complete hypnotic induction like you see in the movies, where someone lies on a couch. But rather, you can speak directly to their subconscious mind when you use the right words and tone of voice. This gives you the ability to influence people to view things the way you want them to.

This allows you to change how people behave by subliminally placing hypnotic suggestions during a friendly conversation.

Saying the right things

Speaking to the subconscious mind is easier than you’d think. The world renowned hypnotist, Milton Erickson, pioneered a model for conversational hypnosis involving three stages:

Stage 1.

Look for clues that tell you how the person sees the world, or a specific problem you are working on. Pay attention to the language the person uses. How does he describe what he is feeling, seeing, hearing, etc. Once you see the patterns then you can use the persons experiences to gently draw their attention away from the outside world and into their own inner experience.

One way to do this is to ask questions like What was that like for you? or How do you feel about that?

Its about focusing them inward so they can really understand how the way they see the world makes them feel.

Stage 2.

The second part of the Milton Model is to distract the conscious mind. Milton did this by using very complex and ambiguous language.

Milton Erickson spoke using words sounding very similar, but with entirely different meanings. A few good examples are here/hear, write/right, wonder/wander and sale/sail.

Milton deployed double binds to present only the set of options he desired. He’d say things like: We don’t know if you’ll begin a trance not or in 10 minutes.

This use of language allows the mind no options, except to go into a trance now or in a few minutes. This also uses an embedded command, to fall into a trance now or in a few minutes.

Incorrectly using words, distracts and confuses the conscious brain and causes it to turn inward for help from the subconscious brain.

These are only a couple of the many Milton Model methods for distracting the mind. I don’t know if you will want to learn more about the Milton Model now, or later ;)

Stage 3.

Once the mind has been distracted, the final step in the Milton Model is to access the subconscious minds resources.

You can do this in a couple of ways. The most basic is by embedding commands in questions or sentences, so that they are not too obvious to the conscious mind, but are very obvious to the subconscious mind.

Some examples are things like:

–Who knows if you will certainly wash to dishes right away –You should do it, shouldn’t you? –You are going to do this, didn’t you? (this sounds like it doesn’t make any sense, but your subconscious mind will hear the command)

You may be wondering, if I just say some confusing sentences to other people and use embedded commands, can i get them to do what I want them to?

Well, my answer to that is maybe.

The important point of conversational hypnosis is that you can only make someone do something that does not violate their beliefs and values.

You are able to use conversational hypnosis to give commands to someone’s subconscious mind, but it will take a good deal more than just conversational hypnosis to actually change her value or belief system.

But, as you practice the Milton Model you will find that you will get better at influencing the people around you as long as you aren’t trying to manipulate them.

The Study of Hypnosis Techniques

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

by David Aldor

Getting a good start into this topic will be a good way to make further progress.

Many people have heard of it, but only a few have really experienced and gone into the depth of it. Hypnosis is a subject that has grabbed the attention of a number of people and maybe for that reason, it seems like everyone has some opinion about it.

Whatever said and done, the proven fact is that after going through many hypnotic sessions individuals suffering from a wide range of habits, phobias etc have been able to overcome these situations all thanks to hypnosis and what it does to the mind and body. Being hypnotized isn’t about you being put to sleep.

The truth is; hypnosis is an intermediary state of mind between sleep and being awake. So you are not fully asleep even though you’ll look like it. You will still be aware of the words being spoken to you.

Hypnotists use different hypnosis techniques on their patients. It can depend on the individual. But, over all, we can state a few techniques that will include attention, relaxation, the subconscious mind, the unconscious mind and suggestions.

Why do you think hypnotists use a pocket watch or a pendant when they start their session? I’m sure you have seen enough of such instances in movies. The reason behind this is because it makes the patient or the individual focus his attention on an object. This is where the hypnotists will sometimes ask the patient to close their eyes and listen to what he or she says.

During this session, the person will start to relax since it is the most important thing when it comes to all hypnosis techniques. The hypnotists or the therapist will help the patient achieve the highest level of relaxation by uttering words that will soothe and calm his mind. Once the therapist identifies that the patient’s body is fully relaxed, he will move on to the next level, which is much deeper and interesting.

Getting into the subconscious mind is easier than the unconscious mind.

This can be done by visualizing something. For instance, the person could imagine himself entering a castle like house with different rooms. But if you are to go in depth to the unconscious mind, then the help of a hypnotist or an experienced therapist should be sought. Once the person is in a hypnotic trance, suggestions can be expressed.

You may have experienced getting into your subconscious mind during the times you day dream or while being half asleep. One moment you could be in your country, and the next second you’d be in another country; it’s just a matter of visualizing. But if you are to go in depth to the unconscious mind, then the help of a hypnotist or an experienced therapist should be sought. Once the person is in a hypnotic trance, suggestions can be expressed.

Any expert would suggest trustworthy hypnosis techniques as the whole process of achieving the desired results depends on that. When all this is done, the person can go back to reality. This is done, slowly and efficiently, as the person has to move back from the unconscious mind into the conscious mind.

Experts in this field usually suggest that individuals will be benefited by using trustworthy hypnosis techniques instead of using fake methods and falling into trouble.

These articles can be very inspiring, hope the information was useful. Thanks a lot for reading.

Hypnosis - How Can I Hypnotize Others?

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

by Mark Allan

Hypnosis is the willingness to follow instructions during a heightened state of suggestibility. You can also think of it as a trance or state of focused concentration.

The main idea of hypnosis is to create a suggestible state of mind in the subject. And then implants the desired suggestions. Many times, you do not want someone to realize they are being hypnotized.

Hypnosis works best when the subject is relaxed and free of tension. It is helpful, if they are in a comfortable atmosphere and relaxed state of mind.

If someone is being hypnotized voluntarily, then you can ask for their cooperation. Try to make them away or of any tension in their body and to try to begin relaxing. Have them focus on the areas and concentrate on relaxing them.

If you are trying to hypnotize someone without their knowledge, you can still try and make them relaxed and reduce any tension. Insure that there are no obvious distractions, like loud noises or bright lights.

The secret to hypnosis is in getting someone to focus inwardly and enter a trance or state of suggestibility. Once they are in a trance, you can begin implanting suggestions.

You can find many courses and writings that talk about the real secrets to hypnosis. The website at hypnosis-x.info has some of the secret and controversial methods, though you may be able to find them by searching the web as well.
